RYT 200

Michaela sees the beauty in stillness and thought. She recognizes the truth and values everyone she meets.

It is in stillness that she mediates, journals, and enjoys the calmness that the air brings as she sits on her deck. As a learner and educator, she brings literacy to all areas of life, where purpose seems too exists in the smallest corners of the pages.

Michaela attended Temple University, where she earned her bachelors degree in Secondary Education with a concentration in English. For someone who loves to learn and grow she soon went on to pursue her degree in education by earning her masters at Johns Hopkins University.

Through Teach For America she was placed in Charlotte, North Carolina which she now calls home. She discovered yoga, and over the next three years, a consistent practice kept her grounded in order to fully accept the things she could not change, the courage to change the things she can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

After falling in love with the practice she received her yoga certification through Jaimis Yoga. Michaela has training in a wide variety of styles including power flow, vinyasa flow, SOULFULflow, restorative yoga, DropSound Silent Disco Yoga, and guided meditation. She strives to create an inclusive environment where all feel supported, accepted, and empowered to be themselves.

You can find her teaching a variety of classes in the Greater Charlotte Area.

She loves watching the rain fall while sipping on a California Cab; and reality T.V. just as much as she loves diving into a novel that you cannot put down. Friends are her family and it is those who she cherishes and remains loyal and honest with. As a person who is driven to make a difference in the world she lights up every room she walks into with her humor, vulnerability, and honesty,

You can find her leading heart filled classes in the Queen City.
